Hi Matt
Welcome aboard :)

If you have just the Demo you can't export a model just an "image" 2D !
Else you can export any 3DModel in Obj or Dxf Format, modeling with Zsphere or Not
Menu/Tools Palette/Inventory/Export
2 The displacement map is for the next version
but you can make many other things with Texture Master or Alpha/textures :)

Ps Take a look to the
Quick Guide (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=010737) and Manual :) (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=010736)
or the Up Menu at Zbc

frenchy is right :)
Displacement mapping is scheduled to be in the next release => Dino thread from pixolator.

Be careful exporting object made with unified skinning , they contain lots of polygons and might be hard to manipulate in other 3d packages. Adaptive skinned models wont be a problem normally.

I have a question about zspheres too...

When working on a zsphere, can I save it so that I can come back later and continue adding more zspheres? I tried and when I reopened the document it wasn't editable.

Thanks,
Sean

There is a difference between saving the document and saving your model.

Saving the document saves the pixols on the canvas. That's all. To save custom elements (Alphas, Textures, or Tools), they must be saved from their own palette. So you would use Tool>Save As to save your model for future editing. You can only do this with the commercial version, though, not the demo.

I would recommend downloading the Quick Reference Guide from the QuickLinks. It covers this topic and many more!
