You have already seen the Mark I and Mark II models. The Mark IIIa, IIIb, IVa, &IVb were so terribly sad that they were retired to the X-File immediately and shall never see the light of day in this forum. Mark V is one step closer to my final realization for this character. This was an excersize to develope a character completely from ZSpheres and ZSphere skins with no other 3D tools being used. I also wanted to incorporate some very robust materials and have those material drive the look of the figure without having to texture it. Everything in this image is made from ZSpheres. All of the armor pieces are made from individual ZSphere objects that were skinned using the low poly Adaptive Skin process. They were then modeled and then divided three times and smoothed to give them a nice smooth finish. The final image will have much more in the area of details. I have been primarily concentrating on the look and form as well as the materials. Next on the assembly line is the Mark VI. Now I just have to squeeze it somewhere in amongst my five or six other projects lol! Rumor has it there may be an Invader Z Assault model in the works as well as a possible Invader Z Overbrain model. We will have to wait and see if the intelligence reports turn out to be...well...um...er...inteliigent.
