This isn't perfect I am still working on it a bit. But I wanted to post it before I leave for a road trip. I will check comments & suggestions when I return. Maybe some of you could give me some constructive ideas... :)

pretty kewl..reminds me of the aliens on Earth Final Conflict....smooth that mesh out or blur it a bit....other than that, very nice :tu: :tu: :tu:

I love to see you trying new things, Bear Woman! That is the path to artistic growth, and your work has improved with each piece you post...The only 121 I would offer has already beem suggested, that you should smooth the mesh...
I also think the red eyes work very well here, especially since, being the warmest colour in the image, they stand out from the environment, and focus attention nicely on your main subject...

Well, that's an alien I wouldn't mind encountering. She has a beautiful serene expression. The bold colours work well together. I think this is a great start. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Suggestions? Yes smooth. Also if possible remove the slight "halo" effect around the lower half of the face, neck and shoulders.

That is a Beautiful alien --and the green setting is a nice contrast--I like this one very much--good work ! :D :tu: :tu: :tu: :D

Yes, very nice. My 121 would be to try some diffuse in your lighting and with the materials. It would make the background slightly less shiny and give some real depth to the image. Great modeling on the femalien, BTW.

veryvery nice one, beside of the alien radiating serenity i part. like what reminds me of a cascade right behind her. a beautiful green world. :tu: :tu: :tu: in addition to what was already suggested i would paint a sky instead of the pitchdark "background" - a dark one is fine, but thats too much of a void void, imho.

Well, I reworked this - I smoothed her out more, changed the lighting and added a sky of sorts. She has a different look, but I don't know if I like her better?? Oh well it was a good exercise.

You got a definitely improved image here Mak!
I think a little coloured lighting with just a hint of orange in it, (not too intense a colour), would add a lot to the skin tones...

Great update kiddo!

Yes, #2 gets my vote too. I like the new lighting as well, though it would be interesting to try out SC's lighting suggestion - not sure which I would prefer. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Thanks guys! SC I can't seem to alter the lighting because I think I baked her layer to keep the background lighting changes from affecting her. Maybe I will use her again in another scene and try the lighting again then. But thanks anyhow!!
