I finally had the time to sit down and play around with ZBrush again. I really missed this program so much. ('Haven't touched ZBrush for about 6 months.) Due to a lot of things.
I've been doing a lot of Concept Art these days. (pen and paper works.) And if I'm not doing any concept, I'm pretty much occupied with animation. Part of the reason also for my long ZBrush sabatical was my work transition. I left Electronic Arts last March and moved on to NAMCO for greener pastures. As a result, I had to set aside any distraction and stay focus. This meant not using ZBrush for a long while.
It was really a refreshing feeling to be able to do something again with ZBrush. I've been really inspired by a lot of the postings here. Keep up the great work guys!

Hello Saint - it's always a pleasure viewing your work. You have a distictive style that's never confused with anyone else's. :tu: :tu: :tu:
Best of luck at NAMCO.

Absolutely Incredible !!! great to see your latest here at Central-- it's another masterpiece!! Man, that guy's been taking his Creatine!
The only thing more awesome than this wonderful Thor with the poochy belly and nipple rings done with the patented Santa Maria Style, is the plain ole fact that you have picked up the Zbrush once again to astound and amaze us poor mortals. Love this work, and best of luck on the new job
Awesome, Saint! Your wonderful, easily recognized style has been sorely missed for the past 6 months. Glad you are back. Hope the new job doesn't keep you away from Zbrush. Congratulations on the new job, also. Now if only I could find one now.....
DAMN!!! What an evil character. Saint, it's always a pleasure. Uneffinbelievable!

Thanks for the kind words averybody. It's really great to be back in a community filled with a lot of talented and passionate people like you guys!
By the way, this image will be a part of an upcoming book from Bill Flemming. (among others of my ZBrush works.) I was fortunate enough to be included in the many fine artists that will be featured on that book.
There will be a section about ZBrush on that book which is really great! (More exposure for this awesome program!)
Cheers!
I'm glad to see that you're still into ZBrush. Your images on the Pixologic site helped sway my decision to get it. It's all the little details here that make it so fun to look at. Those cloven-hoofed boots are the best though
Great image Saint! :)
The expression and stance of the character is just right for him. His clothing too.
The background looks very good as well.

Thanks again guys!
Zoid: I'm glad that in some ways the image I created in the past helped you in deciding to try ZBrush. I hope that more people will be persuaded to give this program a chance like what you did.
Muvlo: I still remember some of your images back in the academy! They always have this interesting feel to it!
Le Discot: What can I say., your works have always inspire me creatively.
Nikko: Good luck on your job hunting! Your "Sinessa" image simply shows a lot of talent and you shouldn't have a hard time finding a good job.
For the rest of you guys, thanks again!

Hi The Saint. As everyone else is telling you, great to see you back. And also, congrats on your new job.
As for the image, as always, very great work.
By the way, if you have the time, you may want to answer flamable. He is only an 11 year old kid (if you did not read his Dragon post). Being that he is a young artist, there would be nothing greater than having a pro such as your self answer him. ;)
Know what I mean? I am sure you do.
Well, looking forward to seeing more ZBrush work from you.
Have a geat one my friend.
Dragon out.

Flammable: The Horns were done with the "torus" tool. (donut) Under initialize., I set the coverage to half and scale one end and just pull and push things together. (sorry flammable., totally missed your question there.) 'Hope it works.
Dragon: Thanks for directing me to Flammable's inquiry. 'Nice to hear from you again!
Well, I was right about ya. You are cool.
:D
Any who, I know flamable will highly appreciate you responding to his question. Right on.
And again, right back at ya (about hearing from me).
Till the next one.
Dragon out.
