hey guys i need some help here... pix. must be busy to respond. ive been having problems with the rust tut. that pix. did and ive tryed everything i could think of to get it working, pix. did however make a slightly modified version of its famouse script, but even that was heading sour real fast.. it played up untill the part where it was going to show how to do the drop shadow and it stopped....i really want this script to work without interuptions can anybody help me... if you cant fix the problem can anybody make a script on how to do a drop shodow thanks.....

ps. here in vancouver wa. out thoughts and our prayers go out to the victims in todays terrible events.... and hats off the those who are holding strong to recover from it.... we at zbrush central also what this message to out to all the terrist around the world... Since the alternate version didn't work, either, and it sounds like both versions stop in the same place, I wonder: have you tried using a Stencil before? It may be that your copy of the program is having trouble with that feature.

As you requested, here's a watered down version of the tutorial. See if this does the trick. If not, then it may very well be your copy of ZBrush.

thank you so much your version worked. what a relief. now i feel alot better about having the full version of pix. tut. thanks soooooooooooooooo much zya

Hi dr. jjwow,

Here are some things that may help fix the problem that you are having with the ZScript:

You may want to try disabling your preferences file by renaming the 'ZCfg123' file (or other file starting with ZCfg) in your ZBrush folder to another name such as 'ZCfg123temp'. Once you do that, try running the script again.

Have you upgraded to version 1.23b? If not, that may fix the problem you are experiencing.

If you are still having problems, please send me a recorded ZScript of the ZScript that you are having problems with.
