hey that pretty good kathy.
do you have the Lurer on a seprate layer just asking because each Lurer has the same out line on each image looks like a Gray border around each image.
just wondering is it clashing into the background making it do that?

All the lures and pole are on one layer.

I have a third and fourth light set up to do the radial outline glow and casting a simple shadow.

Thanks for the nice post. ;)

Beauty Kat!!! :tu: :tu: :tu:
The colours and textures in this are a feast for the eye!
A technical note from a former Nova Scotian..
These are actually called 'plugs'.
The term lures are used for flat metal deals.
(I hope your Grandpa isn't listening, 'cause I bet he would kick my ass for correcting his Granddaughter!)
Fantastic image regardless of the nomenclature! :tu:  :tu: and 1 more :tu:

Hi Kat, where do you use those lures ? If they are not used they certainly make a good wall hanging. Great work my friend! very nice. I also like the fonts you use a lot.

So many different ones to choose from...

The coloring and details on them are outstanding. I like that each one is unique and different. Very nice.

'Evening Kat . . . :)

Now I'll take a couple of those, you make the choice of which ones you want to send me. OUCH! I pricked my finger on one of those hooks. Heheheh. :D

How is it that a wonderful, attractive, dainty & don't forget feminine & intelligent young lady such as your self knows so much about a hobby like fishing???

Did I ever tell you about the time I was fishing over in the San Francisco bay, & I hooked a shark about 15 feet long? Well there I was in my little 12 foot row boat when I hooked onto this shark. Surprise Surprise! To make a long story short, I was using a 30 lb. test line, & this shark started running out to sea, with me on the end of the pole. After fighting the monster with my bare hands for many treacherous hours of blood, sweat & tears, my agony ended & my line finally broke, he had drug me out to sea about 60 miles. I had to row all the way back to shore, against the current, it took me almost two weeks to get back home. By then everybody had forgotten about me. :( So to end this wonderful story, I went to all the local newspapers & told them of my experience, but it seems that no one was really interested??? I thought for sure someone would want to make a movie about my adventure, " The young man in the sea". I just don't understand it???

Another great creation by the "Graphics Chick". Have a good one . . . Mark.

Thanks everyone. :D
You are all so nice.

Mark, they did make a movie about you (well kinda) Tom Hanks was in it. HEY! Did you have a soccarball named Wilson in the boat?

I have a friend down here who caught a 9 foot sandshark while fishing out in the Bay. He caught it the experience on film. Whoo hoo. Freaky stuff. I'm glad you made it through your experience!! :D

Yikes! I almost missed this one -- and am glad that I didn't. Superb job. The modeling and texturing are definitely up to your usual high standards. That greenish cast that you gave to things gives me the feel of age, like this would be a display dug out of grandpa's attick.

Of course, I have to wonder... After all that time that you spent modeling fish, now you're building the tools to catch them. Hmmm.... :)
