They turned out really nice, Hippo. I like their coloring and the grass turned out to be perfect compliment :tu:

I liked the painting more without the water. As a Veterinarian I can tell you that those are land turtles not the water variety. Unless they are next to the water to get a drink. I think it is important to match items that go together. If the turtles were a water variety it would be ok. These are tortoise, land dwelling. However, having said all of that, Kudos for the Modeling and rendering which are fantastic. congratulations.

You've done beautiful work here! The turtle shells are my favorite part -- very nicely textured. And the grass is a close second with its color variations and thickness. Great work!

I do have to agree with DeeVee about the water. Not for the biological/habitat reasons, but just that I think that bright blue and the high specularity overpower the rest of the scene, putting too much weight in the lower left. That's opinion, only, though. It doesn't keep me in the least from saying :tu:!
