Nice image Dr. JJ.

The colors and effect are really nice, kind of like a picture of the Aurora Borealis.

The only thing that looks a little off in the image is that the planets look slightly squished, rather than round. It still looks great though :tu:

I really like the effect you were able to create. I'll send you my Xmas card that I am working on that has the earth on it when it is completed.

Hey this is really cool Doc. It looks like a re-birth of some sort, either that or some metamorphis. "Earth become Us" is that something like "We are what we Eat"?

thanks for your replies on this image.. and digits.. in this piece you kinda have to look beyound the art,and visualize a soft yet unharming comet hitting the earth in slow motion, try to image that your in a dream land in your mind and you see a comet come crashing down and you know that the end is near, and at that very point in time you know that your going go to a better place...you also know that you dont want the people you love to feel pain so you imagin a soft and beautiful comet sent from the sky above and you just enjoy the moment knowing that you cant do anything about it....the end.

wow! WOW! soft and unharming comet you cant do anything about? thank you, Doc, for this :tu: :tu: snapshot from dreamland!!!! my favorite part is the tiny section of pitch black horizon visible at the right edge with the glowing sky above it. i would love to know how you achieved that and the electric atmospheric thunderstorm in general :)

TIA

That electric effect coming up from below is just great. You've given it a nice luminescence. The most dramatic aurora borealis ever!

hey guys thanks for you nice comments,... and juandell the terrain and the ball was created in zbrush the rest was created in photoshop 6... picture was then imported into photoshop and i added a transparent layer to creat the smoke like effect, another layer was created for half the blue light... using the gradient tool and setting it to a low transparent level, and another layer created to finish off the light with yet another gradient only this time a little less transparent.. i made a another layer for that patch of small light you see in the back that juandell describe, using the marque tool i cut out a small selection and applied eye candy fire to it with a blue light.. after i was done with that i highlighted it a little with a highlighter brush. thanks for you wonderful comments agian..Ps thanks aurick but im not really sure what you comment means....i know that i means something good though..
