Hi there one and all,
Things have been a little out of hand recently on this side of the pond and things like life/job/marriage/business trips/illness etc. lead to periods of ZB downtime for me. I just realised that I have been using ZBrush for one year to this very week so I suppose a week or two out of the Zloop should re-charge my batteries. I seem to have missed several thousand posts here and at 3DCommune. Anyone want to summarize some of the main images and tuts that have passed me by.
BTW thanks to everyone who emailed me to ask if things were ok in recent weeks and in case I haven`t mailed my wife if now getting better and I`m intending to stay in this country for a good few months.
Zee ya later and maybe this weekend will give me time to stretch the Z muscles once more.
Glen :D
Very good to hear from you again, Glen. I'm glad to hear that things are returning to normalcy for you and your family. It's good news.
As for trying to summarize what has been going on here, that one is beyond my ability. Tremendous growth -- both in membership and in talent. The TextureMaster being out is definitely the best of the lot. People have been experimenting with a lot of new things, too. Especially in the area of using ZBrush to supplement other software packages. I think it's safe to say that the full capabilities of this program are finally being explored -- although we probably are also just barely scratching the surface.
Anyway, can't wait to see your return with your usual insights and terrific artwork! Thanks for keeping us posted. :)

Hey Glen
You to see your ugly-mug again! You've been missed!
I've been looking after the crew at 3d Commune, and they are a great friendly bunch! I've got to disagree with you on the one-year membership. I joined around the same time as you and I can remember my demo not working when the year 2000 ticked over! (end of the world I tell ya!) And just for the record - Pixologic were in the office fixing my problem on the 1st January!! I'm sure you've been a ZB-nutter for more like 2 years!
Any-hoo, check out the ZScript library at Pixologic.com , (sweet), the texture master script, (sweet), Sheriff-Digits 1000 posts,(sweet), Digit's animation script (sweet), Aurick's Vegetation tut (sweet), a dozen of Davies scripts (cool) and Kruzr's Manties (hmmmm...) :D
Sit back and relax, and take your time and keep your life in balance. You don't owe us anything, so no panic. Good to know you're still livin'n'breathing after recent worldwide events.
Spot-ya.

Hi,
Glen: Welcome back! and best whishes to you and family. :)
Upham: I know exactly what you mean about time passing-by quickly, but Glen is actually correct…
Take a quick guess…
How long ago was ZBrush 1.23b released?
It may seem that version 1.23b exists for a long time, but if you look at the release date you’ll see that version 1.23b released on August 7th. That is only 3 months ago.
How old are ZScripts?
Version 1.23 with ZScripts was released on July 13th – That is less than 4 months ago.
How old is ZBrushCentral ?
ZBrushCentral is less than 7 months old. All the images, tutorials, posts, insights, tips… all of that happened in the past half a year.
and yes… Glen has created hundreds of ZBrush images, all within the past 12 months. :)
I know exactly what you mean, it seems that the above items have taken place long time ago but the facts say otherwise.
At times, time can be really confusing :)

Hope everything goes well with you and yours, Glen...
You've been incredibly inspiring to me, and I am sure, many others on this forum. You owe us nothing...get your situation in hand, and know you are in our hearts, big guy!

1 Year. Where does it all go. Reading that made me think a little. I can't remember when I first Lit up ZB, but I know I posted my first ZB image on May 16, 2000. Not too long after I posted, I saw an image from some guy called Pixelator that was amazing. I just had to email him and ask if he had the demo or full version and how long he had been using ZBrush  . His only response was "A long time".
Glen, I am glad everything is Ok. Good to see you back again.
