I have only been messing around in ZBrush for a day so this question may seem laughable to some. When medeling a face, how do i move the "blob" soon to be face around? As in 360 degrees so i can modify every agle of it?? thanks

welcome to the z.. in the image below i have shown you just how to rotate your image... do not pust both bottons at the same time the arrow on the left lets you free transform.. the other arrow gives it a controlled rotate function... rem in you have any question try to use the quicklinks above.. and go to pixologic.com and download the manuals to get a better idea of the program... look forward to see some of your work... http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1010372240uyw.jpg

After you create your 3d object you need to go in Edit mode http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1010372224pul.jpg After if you click and drag in the background around your model, it will rotate and you will be able to edit other sides.

i found it really usful to push *shift* in conjunction with that *edit* tool, thus constraining the rotation to angles of 45°, giving you more control and precision.
btw, that works just fine in the smallish tool window either.

I saw somewhere that when modeling a head you should turn the sphere 90degrees to the top first.I do this by changing the v devide to its min.So it changes from a sphere to a top looking shape-move it then change the v devide back and start modeling-BUT i'm not an expert and there may be an easier way.

yeh, indeed, there is :) just go to *tools/modify/deform* and spin it around the x axis 90°, thats it, now the poles are where they should be. it's quite helpful too, to switch on *dots* mode (preferences), so you can see, where the poles (and the seam) actually are.
just discovered all that yesterday myself :)

runing the "Start modeling" Zscript usually gives you a good modeling setup with a perfectly aligned sphere.
