Yes it's me zoid, back from oblivion. I have been without internet service since shortly after xmas. My IP went bankrupt, and was taken over by another company. No internet means I've been zbrushing like crazy and really enjoying it. It took several hours to get through all of the postings since then and I've gotta say that compared to a few other forums that I watch this is the most active and interesting one around. Something for everyone.

There are so many things to comment on but here are a few,
Le Discot's "Match" image is fantastic. If you want to see who really kicked Adobes rear then check this (http://www.macworld.com/2001/12/eddy/awards.html) out.
The "low poly" stuff that Levius and Upham are doing is really cool, beauty in simplicity.
Southern's idea that ZBrush is better than Photoshop for post render work is something to take very seriously. I'm going to make a zscript related to this subject but I will wait to see his upcoming tut.
Congratulations to Dr. JJWow and Aurick on earning their stars. Mine will come in mid 2003 :p
Hello to everyone new and old. Happy New Year :)

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm inspired to do more. If I gave the impression of not liking Photoshop, what I meant was I've learned a lot about this program by trying to duplicate what I do in photoshop ;) But still, ZBrush did beat Adobe Illustrator, that's pretty cool

Welcome back from the void, Zoid!

I'm looking forward to seeing that script that you mentioned. Sounds intriguing.

As for this image, it's really awesome. The POV is super effective. Neat job on the eyes, too.
