Hi pros., I got quite serveral questions.
1st, image like ztevie-rae's fury 2, xx6 and etc, how do u paint them? All done in zbrush or with photoshop? Model like sean connery, is the hair painted on the model in zbrush or edited in Photoshop? is the hair just texture or is it really also model out?

How do u all make props?
If i made a props with many parts, do i multimark them so they r models then place on canvas or arrange them separately on canvas individually as graphics.

Cos image like the fury2 and the XX6 hav so much items and props that i am wondering how r the props place. R they stack on top of each order or r they whole model just place down.

And do u all normally model figure seprately? Then how do i join them together so that the Z axis is where i wanted to be or i just dont care about the X axis and just place from what is seen from front view.

Again do u all normally model whole stuff out or u all just model and paint the view u all need and place them on canvas?

Hi, you have many question.... :)
Normally you can try to model everythingh, but is more simple and fast planning a sketch and pain only what you see.
You can use photoshop for what you want, but with Zbrush you can obtein the same thingh , more with the use of the "pixols".
Ztevie has explained the hair making in a tutorial: he is painting and smudging with both program.
Don't think like the traditional 3d software; is more easy and clean.
You put on the canvas (chose the right size to avoid antialias,on depending by the ram you have) the modeled props, you can use separate layer to change easy the texture and color, use the marker to remember the position...and compose the scene.
Obviously you can't change the visual angle(camera).
You are going to obtein a hibryd 2d/3d image, put your props or everithingh you want onto the canvas and render all.
I try many times to use Multimarkers, but they make me crazy.
You can chose to texture the model to have this ready to use in every composition, or more fast you can paint onto the model and the software make automatically shadow intensity and all in real time.(in this way you have an object without texture)
With a little application you can obtain a very nice composition.
Look this:

Hope this help (sorry for my english)

If i model a figure tool and i resize it to larger, will the figure still in 3d mode be blur or pixelated?

What the different between scaling with the deformation menu, the Scale tool and the shortcut key scale "alt+click+release alt"?

Does any of the above scaling cause pixelated/blur picture to produce?

WHEN YOU SCALE THE OBJET, DOES NOT MATTER the size of your project( don't change the resolution).
Tip: if you planning a resolution work about
2000x1000 to obtein the best antialias need to press the half size button on the zoom button; it will change the resolution to 1000x500 but with a better results.
You need use this button to improve the beautiful of your paint then start with a bigger size then you need and then half size button.
To increase the obj resolution put on divide button on tool/deform palette and then smooth.
