yeah, get busy making more art. :)

The lighting/material on the rendered version is very nice. Modeling is great. Give him a cup of coffee and he'll probably be a lot happier. ;)

Wow, cool model u hav there. Was trying to model a 3d model of myself too today.. it "real" tough modeling "Real" stuff. Hard to get the proportion right and features to be clear yet not exaggerating. Man, hope i b able to create something like urs out soon too so i can proceed with my "half stuck" homepage creation.

BTW wat r the tools u use to model the head and body? meddling with Zsphere or 3dsphere? the body did u connect with multimarker or just mould it from the head figure?

thnx guys, i used 3dsmax before, but i was fallen with love with zbrush in one week for all my life. ;)
I used 3d sphere for this head and the body I made from head. It was such simple. I started to work at 8:00 am and at 15:00 it was completed. U will see more models from me soon ! :)

Oh ! I made an experiment of this model. It was really fast work. Its named "Bububu" :)

the expression is great ! but, if i may say so, i think the forehead is too small, the eyes are in the middle of the vertical, and also the ears are a little too far in front... but other than that great model.

× Yes, you are right, it is rule in anatomy, not in the reality, that eyes are in the middle of the vertical. It is only ideal.
× My main miss is in small ears and eye balls are not good inserted to the skull.
× It is my first 3d head and I will be better, I trust.

I like your experiment it looks very ghostly

do you mean Bububu as in scary suprise BOO!

or

Bububu as in accident (oops made a Boo-Boo)

-probably neither-maybe it means something in Slovak?-

HelgaPataki: LOL "Bububu", yes, it means BOO in scary surprise. Or in slovak language it means, that I will eat you. :)

Crisis:Oh, I don't have one way to create good eye. I created a lot of heads in reality in clay. My slogan is : "Take a material and sculpture."

Strange that when I saw you original post here - your FIRST head in ZBrush - I said to myself, he must have done a lot of real-world modelling with clay to understand the shape of the head as well as you obviously do.

I've not modelling in clay for a LONG time except for a few heads that I used for 3D digitized input.

However, after several months of working with ZBrush on heads I've relearned that "less is more". The contours of the head and features of the face need to be more subtle than what we tend to create.

I'll be curious to see what new work you do in ZBrush over the next few weeks and months... Good stuff, keep posting!

Thank you for your posting Svengali. I feel now better, yes, work with the reality is very important for me and my work, as I am student of sculpture.

Every day I draw people, live figures, studies and details of man. Every saturday I model a head with clay of real model. I know, that it is not art of today, but art of old masters of art as Auguste Rodin and Michelangelo... But I think, every real artist must feel everything what feel artist before him. It is the condition to be a good artist. If you know what it was before you, you know what is today...

Well, I've got a new 3D model in my head. I drawed it on paper:
