Hello!
First of all: sorry for my english.
I`m working with zBrush since one week and i love it! I´m now happy to present my first image.
I saw this Character in a short movie from Pixar and thought it woud be a good experience.
I hope it is good enough for this forum :)

Keep up the good work and don't hesitate to ask for help if you need anything. There is normally someone lurking around the forum anytime of day or night for the most part.

Hi Mike - welcome to the Forum. That's a great first post. He looks a fun old guy. He has a really infectious smile - made me grin, anyway. :D
Look forward to seeing more of your work. :tu:

Jeez ... I've got modelling down somewhat, but how in the world do you guys texture what you've done? I just can't figure it out. I've watched the Texturemaster scripts, still nothing. When I go to paint, it's terribly messy and looks horrible.
Ahh well .. back to Photoshop for me =)
Great job on Geri! I was able to pick him right out. Anyone interested in seeing the entire short, go here: Geri's Game (http://www.pixar.com/shorts/gg/index.html)
Also check out the other short films, Knick Knack is my favorite. If you were wathcning movies in the late 80's (I think) you mave have seen a few of these before the main feature, before Pixar got the Disney jobs...

Thanks a lot for all these replays!
Yes... Geri is his name! I remember him now..
Thats true... Knick Knack is one of the best short movies i have ever seen...
Take a look at the pixar website!

And Zbrush is not only the best graphic Programm, it is the best forum, too!

Well hello and definitely welcome! As for your statement "good enough for this forum" anything that is created by our members is good enough. I don't believe any of us are going to judge your work that way.. So keep on creating and posting! Good start with this. :tu:
Note for Konclave: Hint - when painting sculpture, make sure you take the Zadd off and use the flat colour material I think you will find it much less messy and far more controllable. You will find the Zadd when you open the Draw Icon. I had the same problem until some kind person (SC) enlightened me!
