My third Zbrush pic. I'm making some progress now.

I was trying to do a multi-object piece this past week and nothing, zip... Can't get that Multi-Marker thing or the polymesh thing. How do you combine other primitives together to make other tools? I do realise I can't save tools I create because I have the Zbrush demo version 1.55. Anybody have any suggests on working around this or I'm I just missing something?

So any ways I decide to go back to the basics and just sculpt from a sphere primitive. Think, I'm going to doing this single sphere primitive sculpting for a few more posts, then venture on.

I went back to Pix's ZTUT_Modeling.pdf (the basic cat head thingy) and tried a second time to help my brain out.

Damn this program is so cool, lots of trail and error and 3-4 hours later, I got me this dirty little pig head.

Not bad for a first attempt, not bad at all!

The Multi-Marker tool does not work in the demo, unfortunately.

In the full version, here's how it works: after you have created, sculpted and Marked a bunch of objects onto the canvas, the Multi-Marker tool creates a new tool that contains all the objects combined. The individual objects can then be moved, scaled and rotated, but not sculpted any more.

The Multi-Marker object can either be drawn into the canvas as it is. Or or you can convert it to a Polymesh (which allows you to sculpt it), or you can make a Unified Skin out of it (which can also be sculpted, but "melts the objects together" into one lump).

Some precisions : you said "1.55" the last version is 1.55B
Don't hesitate to load it if you haven't !
I am disagree Skaven :D The multi-makers works fine with the demo :)
You must just "mark" each object !
It's just the polysmesh who is disable !
With Demo...
You must work in one session, in 640*480 !
Your work can just is saved in 2D (psd format)or Z format.
You can't saved any thing tools textures models.
You can't export any thing.
You can import some things but not Photos !
But you can used any functions and read any scripts :cool:
Have good Zbrushing !

That is an excellent attemp. Well done Combo.
You know whats funny. I have the full version and I still can't get the hang of the MM tool. It pulls funny tricks now and then. I have given up on it for now.

You mean how it sometimes oddly misplaces all the objects so they have to be repositioned again? That's happened to me a couple of times too. http://www.modplug.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/curious.gif
