Taeko,
This is great, but why not modeling and rendering in Zbrush?.
Maya and lightwave are very different than Zbrush and we all working with Zbrush.
But you are a great artist :tu: :tu:
Greetings,

WOw this is simply a great modelling and rendering display!!!!.....just amazingly detailed modelled...you much have spent a fortune of time on this!!!!!...it looks fantastic!..
I would be very much be interested in the the techinique you have applied to render this gem...custome hypershade network?....and information regarding to this would be great...as I have not seen this type of quality rendering using displacement and normal maps!!
Thanks for posting :)!

Just wondering taeko .... do you have the zscripts for these :)
Hehehe just joking, these are examples of incredible modeling and even greater imagination.
Inspires me to try even harder.
Well done

This is a simply AMAZING piece of work. I can't say enough about how truely outstanding this is.
Nice HDRI too. You really used the perfect setup for your render. GREAT JOB.
I CAN'T BELEIVE THEY HAVEN'T PUT THIS ON THE TOP ROW. They must be sleeping. ;)
would you mind sharing your settings in mental ray. these are great results and i have not been so lucky bringing my stuff back in to maya
taeko,
Very nice work! Could you explain your workflow? I'm trying the same thing but getting a lot of crashes during render time in Maya. I only have 512 megs of ram. I have even been doing batch renders, this works part time but here and there my renders a choking. Could yoiu talk a little bit about your displacement settings you are using in Mental Ray!!! That would help out tons!!!
I just wanted to say how impressed I am with z brush.. this app can handle in realtime these models that Maya cant even output a single frame during render time!! Wow!!!
Peace,
NickZ.

Hi everybody,
I'm so sorry that I haven't replied all these questions.... I didn't mean to ignore them but I've been so slamed by work now, and I just can't find anytime to make a tutorial or a work flow discription.... :( :( :(
I hope you can find answers from other members' posts....
Please bare with me.

the amount of detail on it seems equal to what you would get from a make-up artist and the real thing!
