A few days ago I took a little time off and did a little boating. This is a doodle to remind me of that trip, and to try and perfect my splatter technique. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1029013684zvp.jpg

Thanks Robo and Ron. I enjoyed myself. Up until a few years ago we were out just about every weekend.
I guess if you do not go looking for something it is difficult to find it. The spray technique has certainly helped me to do more in ZBrush, if it was not mentioned by the bata testers I never would have tried to duplicate the effect. Thanks fellows. You keep the old man inspired :ex:

DeeVee, you definitely have a style all your own. I just have to look at a thumbnail and I can now pretty much tell if it is one of yours! Nice pic! it reminds me of my last fishing trip on the north channel of Lake Huron. Caught some awesome bass that day!!
Thanks for the reminder... :D

This kind of reminds me a fishing in Cabo. One of the things I remember most is how the shoreline looked as we were speeding out to sea. Very cool image DeeVee!

Looks like a fun trip. The background and sky are beautiful and the water and spray are excellent. Looks like your technique is working great :tu:

I love the way you've captured the wake and spray - excellent technique. I can feel the wind in my hair and the salt on my lips.
:tu: :tu: :tu:

If I could offer one suggestion: I think it would benefit from some extra compositional element - Robo's water-skier (preferably still afloat :D )sounds good; that would give you a chance to include a second wake and spray. Just a thought. :)

Thanks all. FC, thanks for your suggestion. I thought of it but I am sure you are aware of my modeling skills regarding the human body. I only attempt to do them if only a shape in required. :) I will think about it again though, since this was just an exercise doodle to try the spray in another image , I did not intend to upgrade it. But I just may :ex:
