Hehe, I'm kind of proud of this one no matter the flaws. :D I got the ears right!
What I was actually doing was learning to use different settings on Mentats fog technique and I really think he taught us something great with that one. Thanks Mentat! :D

This did indeed turn out very well! Your modeling skills are growing in leaps and bounds! Just between you and me I can't model a human head worth poo poo  :D Something I definitely intend to rectify in the near future. :tu: :tu:

And rightly proud, too! Your modelling is improving with every post, Vikki. Not just the ears, either - I think you've done a really good job with the eyes on this one. They appear to be very naturally set in their sockets, which a lot of people seem to struggle with. (Not me, I never got anything worth putting eyes in.)
The only suggestion I would venture is that IMHO the eye lashes on the upper lid should be a bit longer, and that the lower lid should also have short lashes.
Cool shade of eye-shadow - complements the iris colour dramatically well. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Very different for you--I like the all over feel of this --I could see this as a saleable poster or Magazine cover-or story illustration--good stuff :D :tu: :tu: :tu: :D
Thanks! She was a bugger and finally turned the other night when I figured out where the ears really go and all the stuff that went along with that. :D Then I thought I'd watch Ed's head tut again so I could loosen up a little bit. Sometimes I can be so strict and it really does make it harder if you can't loosen up. :D And then with the fog technique, well, I finally liked something. :D

looks a lot like Young Chopin, Except with a nice feminin touch.
Very nice!
She has such a soft feminine look to her. I have a much easier time with children and old people than females. You do very well with them :tu:
I think I missed part of Mentat's fog technique. I caught the post where he uses fog to place the shadows on a figure. Think I'm gonna go look it up...

extremely well modelled head, i think the proportions are perfecto from eyebrows down (the eyes should be placed in the middle of the heads y-axis, so theres some forehead i am missing :)) very nice job with eyes (mayhaps iris’s are a bit big but then i never found out how make them smaller when using textured spheres myself), nose, lips and yes: ears :D + :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: bravissimo!
