Hello friends and fellow ZBrushers,
Here is yet another image done awhile back using the Beta of Z2. 2.2 million polys just on the head.
Minor adjustments in Photoshop.
Thanks for looking,
Michael

Gorey indeed and wonderfully done, friends like this would make me look good in a crowd.

What's the story behind it?

Mario,
As always, thank you very much!

Boozy,
Thank you, next to this guy most people look pretty good! LOL
I actually got inspired to do this after watching an old movie called "Papillon" (sp?)
starring Steve Mcqueen and Dustin Hoffman.
I saw the lepers and said to myself, I should try that in ZBrush.

Take care,
Michael

Hi PusG
Papillon is a french man !
Henri Charriere ! (http://william.bourgeois.free.fr/Seznec/Livres_connexes/Papillon.htm)
His story was adapted for the american movie :)

That's one skin condition I would not like to have. Isn't it amazing that now we are talking about million of polygon models. Right now I'm working on a 3.75 million model myself.

Jim,
Thanks!

Pilou,
A true story huh... what a trip!

Rob,
I am glad I could disgust you! LOL Thanks!

Rafael,
Thanks man, it is pretty amazing to have that many polys to work with... without bringing the computer to it's knees!

Take care all,
Michael

did'nt see this one Michael... I think you have keeped to the model a feeling of dignity, and untouched eyes... that couterbalance the gore effect, for more depth in emotional level!... does the little satyr is moving?... amitiés .M.

Hi in the fours images i prefere the first one with the skin tone.
Good work is neck is a bit long but if that was in your mind at your modeling process what can i say art is pure imagination:)
