I'm bringing objects in from maya to continue modelling in zBrush and when I bring in a detailed piece of geometry I get a message like this: THIS MESH CONTAINS 68 NONSTANDARD POLYGONS THAT HAVE MORE THAN 4 SIDES. Then it either gives me part of the geometry (with a chunk of it missing) or doesn't give it to me at all. Is there a way of adjusting the preferences so I can import more detailed geometry into zBrush?

Hi Headkitchen
I think you have to export again the object in ZB and then imported again to allow ZB resolved it¡ Of course using the default setup of ZB in the tool>inventory>export panel.
Try this and please let me know.
Thanks for your attention

I have found that running models from outside zbrush...and sometimes even exported zbrush....through uvmapper solves the problems.
