Hey Aztec, how did you DO THAT?!

Incredible. Did you model a sphere with the material/texture indicated and just move/draw to get that shape? Or does it have something to do with Cameyo's script?

That looks really good.

Andre- Gracias amigo siempre puedo contar contigo... Thx a lot!
JUSTNPROUD- I didn't use texture master, u just get the texture and get your tool, click on your texture u want to aply, then...
under the texture panel choose the mode it will best fit your tool and also arrange the H and V repeat to make it look like there is more in one :D
About the "GRD" definition: The gradient colors button displays the colors of a colorized mesh with softened edges.
Hope this helps :)

Hi all,
i have a wip to test ...

The image show the interface and four texture examples.
Download:
ZFabric3.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200404/user_file-1079800743uql.zip)
Some info:
The script draws horizontal and vertical lines...
You can choose colors and number of lines.
If a color switch is OFF then that color is skipped, but the relative number of lines will be counted.
Press the "Default" button before drawing !!
Sorry for poor explnation...but i must go out with my daughter.

Please test it and post result.

Ideas and suggestion are well accepted... :)

(Just a Cameyo's texture apply on some spheres 3D :)
Hi Cameyo
Just 3 suggestions :)
:b3: A function who copy in one pass all the colors selected from vertical to the horizontal for have a symetry color texture :)
:b3: A function random for each color in the squares
:b3: And maybe the cross Cursor who choose color (when you press it)from texture to the palette(or canvas)when you release it (I don't know if it's possible :)
(now we are oblige to chosse on the palette and goback : I Am some lazzy :D
Have funny scripting!
Pilou
Ps And a last one
:b3: Why not the possibility to put in each square a texture or a piece of "surface's canvas" grabbed?
(of course is not the same "line building" but I think that should be not difficult to realize :)
Fractal isn't it ?

Pss Maybe a bug :D When you put the number "zero" = 0  in all square it's seems that the process don't stop ! A false test ?
:ex: so numbers >=1 :)

Hi all,
you can do better textures... :)
Try again.

I have developed a new version:
- Add Random Colors
- Add Reset Colors
- Add Swap Colors
- remove the Frenchy bug :)
Download:
ZFabric5.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200404/user_file-1079865963xfv.zip)
Future enhancements:
- add apply material function
- add palette color creation
- add help and demos
- add save and restore colors and parameters(after Z2...)

Tip:
after the creation of a texture try to paint different material on canvas to obtain marvelous result.

Hi all,
a new version:
- add two Palettes
- add resize canvas to pattern dimension
- add copy repetition values
- add apply material function
http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200403/user_image-1079939425krf.jpg
Download:
ZFabric8.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200404/user_file-1079939475uep.zip)
I have seen few textures from users..maybe this little tutorial will helps.
The scripts write horiz and vert lines on the canvas.
You can choose colors and number of repetition lines.
The lines are one pixel width. You can change Stroke->Spacing to vary from continue to dotted line.
If a color switch is OFF then that color is skipped, but the relative number of lines will be counted.
Press the "Default" button before drawing !!
Example:
1) Load script and press the "Default" button to set the standard drawing parameters.
2) Press vertical "Random" to create random palette color
3) Write the following Repeat Value for vertical palette: 2-4-4-2-4-4-2-4
4) Press "VPAINT"
5) Now Prees "VCol->HCol" button to copy colors from vertical palette vertical to horizontal palette.
6) Write the following Repeat Value for horizontal palette: 2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2
7) Toggle settings: H1=ON, H2=OFF, H3=ON, H4=OFF, H5=ON, H6=OFF, H7=ON, H8=OFF
8) Create new layer (you can erase the layer if you don't like textures :))
9) Press "HPAINT"
10) Now Press MATERIAL button and select a material...
11) ... if you don't like the material selected...press "X" (the shortcut of "Material" button) and select another material.

More, the textures created are seamless and the script works with any canvas dimension.
I think this is a powerful texture creator...but i'd like to see your works.
Please, try it and post result.

p.s. maybe this version had some bugs...work on the night...

Cameyo do what you feel, dont guide by the user response. I post many images here because i enjoy working with ZB and few people reply or see my post (i appreciated very much) but i dont stop to post or to work with ZB.
Is easy to see that some user dont want or dont like what you do (they reply other post at the same time say nothing to your post).
Just do what comes from your heart not from ego.
Keep on friend¡¡¡

ps:your script (all) are very helpful and has been an inspiration source to other zscript programmer too¡ I want to learn script, i suggest you to make an special topic (excuse my english) about learning and making script, i have reading in ZB2 that the new version allow plugin, it will be an interesting window to learn and there you have a very important function too.

Hi Cameyo;
I had some quality time playing with your
fabulous script. It can also be used to make
textures and that's a good thing. Then I got
some crazy ideas and I wanted to know what you
think about it.
These four textures was done with Bump-brush,
and I used both add and cut functions here on
different directions. (add vertically, and cut
horisontally, all separate settings.)
The only drawback was that I had to grab the
screen to save it as a texture, which made them
no longer seamless.
Any idea?
http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200403/user_image-1080087854dzz.jpg

I also used a material with color bump value.

Hi all,
Matvara, wonderful texture...the script can do seamless texture, but the user must follow some rules. One of these is: the canvas must be a multiple of vertical and horizontal pattern. Another: the material sometimes destroy seam.
Anyway, here is a new version:

I love this script but have a few questions.
What screen size do you use so all the colors are on the same line.
To choose a color do you click on the color button and give it a value?
how do you get vertical and horizontal lines in the same texture.
Thanking U in advance,

Hi Sprite
For choose a color :click to the Menu/ Color/palette and just click on a color fabric square :)
For make Horizontal and vertical visible you must "disable" some colors in the "up" (H&V) else you will see just vertical or Horizontal lines :)

Another great zscript Cameyo - thanks for putting in the time to produce it.

I've just had a chance to start experimenting and I'm having some problems with it though, notably the way it is drawing the lines at an increasing angle across or down the page. Have I got an odd setting somewhere that is causing this? I also can't figure out how to get the lines to reach the edge of the canvas. I am using a default 640x480 res with X2 set to 640 and Y2 set to 480. I'm using the latest version (16.zip).

PS: I tried version 12 and the same problem happens so I guess the cause is my end.

Kitty
03-28-04, 09:17 PM
Cameyo, I can tell this HAS to be a great script, but still going to wait until after Z2 is launched, cuz as you said (Lordy) there may be some script coding changes.

And, knowing me, I cannot keep my mouth shut LOL .... so here goes.

When a script is written, you know it is good, cuz everyone wants a "better" version.

But I am here to tell you nice people, as a retired programmer, but not as high up as Cameyo, that every change that is made to a script (program), in many ways makes it so the script is not as good as the original. That is because all your "suggestions" interact with the other code, and it will cause problems that later you all are going to have to live with.

So please, let Cameyo have his space for his artistic abilities with scripts, you all know he has heard you yelling MORE MORE MORE, and he knows you have done that because you love his script, but do the guy a favor, and dont wear him down to the bone LOL.

To be blunt, don't be vultures who want everything, and pick all the meat off the original script.

He said on page 3 or 4 that he only wanted a 121 ONLY LOL.

Wait, be patient, for Z2 to come out, and please let the guy breathe :D I am promising you, you let an artist at scripting have breathing room, you are going to get a lot more then even you can think of, cuz there is no better critique then the artist themselves.

so wait for Z2 to come out, and quit asking for MORE MORE and still MORE.

Lord, this is one of the reasons I will never program a script for anyone, cuz you cannot please EVERYONE LOL.

Cameyo, take a breather, dont think (or try not to think) about this script until you want to AFTER Z2 release. And if it stops being fun, then take a long breather :D

Rest of us will stop being vultures, wont we my friends :D

Forever a big mouth

Try this:

2.press 'default' button
3.press 'vpaint' button
4.press 'hpaint' button

Kitty...you known me...some relax days...until Z2.

Pilou...you known my script better than me :)

Cameyo...love this script....specially being able to add a material.

a small sample:

sorry for the quality and size but couldn't get it to pass the 200k limit otherwise.

Hi Cameyo

I figured the problem out - all I need to do is set Preferences>Draw>Mouse averaging to 1 and it works fine now. Increasing Mouse averaging causes the angle to get increasingly worse across the page.

Now I can play :)

Wow, how's this for an eye-bender :)

HINT: you can use any brush that can apply RGB colour with this zscript. The glow brush is great for blending gradients if you use slightly different brush sizes from the first run.

Possibilities seem endless.

Oh, this was done with the fibre brush :)
Unfortunately it has lost some of its optical depth with the jpeg compression - the original looks like one of those 3D optical illusions.

Hi Bone

Even 3D object !!!
It's a very funny prog
Cameyo rocks one more time :)

Thanks froyd, I was aming at some thicker

was worth it. :b2:

This script for Zbrush is a excellent. I do alot of texturing by hand for Poser 5 clothes. So I hope this will help with the speed of doing them.

After doing VPAINT and HPAINT, I saw paint on background and my object.
But I can't have control of my object.
My object seems to be freeze.
Something is missing:
7) Toggle settings: H1=ON, H2=OFF, H3=ON, H4=OFF, H5=ON, H6=OFF, H7=ON, H8=OFF
8) Create new layer (you can erase the layer if you don't like textures )
9) Press "HPAINT"
10) Now Press MATERIAL button and select a material...
11) ... if you don't like the material selected...press "X" (the shortcut of "Material" button) and select another material.

How can I rotate and move my object at this point ?

Hi there. I'm still a beginner with ZBrush, and am now looking into texturing and painting with it. This script sounds interesting and I wanted to know if there was an update for 3.1 as mentioned in this old thread.
