Really like both of these.. changing the colors, changed the whole image!! Fantastic work as usual!! I think the second one is my favorite because of the colors.. :)

You have truly mastered that fog technique. Very moody and great depth

Thank you for replies, especially in the time when the New Version is coming out :).
I received several PMs about texturing, so:
Comments on textures:
1.
The most of the effect comes from the way they are mapped on. I suggest you try out basic ZB textures and test the mapping on all 3d objects in ZB. You will then see, that the process itself brings out some interesting effects. Understanding this, you can easily( :) ) create images, that you may later map on an object, and with some practice the effect become really PREDICTABLE for you (i.e. when you make simple white square texture with black thick line on the top, you will get an eye texture when mapped on sphere). This way I create very complex textures without using texturemaster at all (sometimes :)).
2.
I use sometimes collages made from digital photos from my personal archive. Those are just snapshots from everyday life, no alien spaceships here :).
3. Sometimes, I enhance a texture with alpha bump (TEXTURE tab: make alpha, SELECTION tab: ALPHA, DEFORMATION tab: SCALE, INFLATE, SUBDIVIDE and others). You can also take selection directly from texture intensity(INT), saturation etc. in SELECTION tab for slightly different effect.
4. In some cases, I change material properties (color bump etc.), to adjust desired effect.
5. However, generally the best results are from textures created directly in ZB (MRGB grab). The reason: the image is very clean and without artefacts, and you gain good alpha in the process.
6. I strongly suggest trying default textures and default ZB alphas at the beginning. Some does not look very cool at the first sight, but later you will see there is very good reason for every one of them (maybe there could be some useful tutorial in default ZScripts...).
7. EXPERIMENT!
I hope this simple explanation has some value for you, I intend to make some thread about this subject in the near future (hopefully as soon as I get familiar with the new version).
Stay tuned :),
D.S.
this is a vry impressive image :ex: thanks for the tips , they are apreciated :tu: :tu: :tu:
