SWEET MOTHER - Beta (Largeish)

A large image in the making here. I took a different aproach with this image. I made the female body with arms and legs using the new modeling tools that come with the beta. I made a hand in the same way but as a separate model. I then made the cape, head and helmet in the more normal ZBrush way. I set up the scene with a 3D plane in the background and painted the sky using different alphas and the Flat material. I set up 4 lights, 3 suns and a glow light and rendered the scene with shadows and depth. I then did a load of post work in Photoshop and at that point decided to add in the little orphan. I went back to the original ZBR document and used an old mesh to create the child/demon (it was my old golum model) and placed him into the scene and re rendered. I cut him out in PS and added him into the new image.

Sweet pict Southern!
The little fella at the bottom reminds me of Gollum. Have you seen the new LOTR trailer? You can download it from www.lordoftherings.net (http://www.lordoftherings.net) (34meg) and there's this cool shot of gollum's back in the same pose as this dude!
(The Gollum voice is Spot-on!)
