I can only say that it is wonderful and gorgeous Kathy. The dew on the leaves, the wonderful texures and I think there is miner's lettuce in the foliage. The salamander? is using it's natural camoflauge to remain inconspicuous amongst the enviroment. If it wasn't for a few tell-tale clues I would think that this was a photograph. :tu: :tu: :tu:

WOW, Kathy! I saw the frog right off, but that salamander is cool! I didn't even see it at first. Very nice use of everything in this pic. :cool: :tu: :cool:

:td: The only thing I might change is to have some pinkish light coming from one side with shadows, to simulate early morning sunlight.

Good use of the ol' aerial view......as you say...."get in close"......good focal point....great flora and fauna.

Maybe more use of light and shadow.....?

i also missed the salamander at first sight! :D is this a :td: ? certainly not! :D mucho effective camouflage... everything else is very beautiful, too. i love the leaves, humid atmosphere, the frog/toad... and i’d wish to be living in zones where i could verify the naturalism of the pic! i’m jealous! :)
