View Full Version : Is there a script that saves/restores settings?

Finally found my typo that prevented me from being other than a visitor for a long time. :o

Anyway, when I'm working in Z I'll often switch all my settings between several brushes (settings in Draw palette, picker, alpha and tool). Is there a script out there where you can click a button and it will store these settings in a slot. Then you can click on one of your saved slot/buttons instead of making all those changes over and over while you're working?

Did this make sense? or am I missing something?

Eagerly eagerly eagerly awaiting new version too!

Yes, Kaz-g has made a great script, which you can get here: AlterBrush (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=006611) :)

This is one I use alot in conjunction with Ken B's Commontools script. By editing the script file you can also pre-define your own brushes which I thought was neat.

After your question, I just spent the afternoon updating ColorQuick to have the ability to store everything (or close to it) about your brush settings.

You'll find the utility in this thread (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=006766).

Wow!! All this is just super!

Thank you so much.

I'm supposed to be doing something else but instead am trying to get my ZLegs back! ;)

So nice to see you all again (though I lurk quite a bit ... Heh )
