This is my attempt at realism. Not Poser, all ZBrush. I know the background is plain black, but I think it lends to the emotion of the picture.

After the laughter has faded, the tears remain still. An aging performer, in a world where clowns are no longer loved by the children.

Clowns have always made me sad. Your model just about made me cry! You are right the black background is very effective. And your modeling is superb!!
