I have been trying to follow a few more of the quicklinks and got started on this one. When I was just painting, I was less bothered. This modeling section has me frustrated. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1003693391sfr.jpg

Looks like it's coming along well to me, DeeVee... :)
If you want to learn more about modelling, load the ZScript modelling tutorials, set the 'Show Actions' button on, set the 'Delay' to 1000, and watch them more than once...It takes time but it will come to you. There is a learning curve, but you're getting there!

down load these there the BEST on helping. http://www.cyber-webs.com/zbrush/Upham/ZAcadCompCol.zip
AND http://pixologic.com/support/docfr.html
Reading them requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, available free from Adobe, Inc. (www.adobe.com).
make sure you download this FIRST

Thanks for the information. I had most of those articles downloaded and printed. so that I could better follow the instructions . Stonecutter, the tip about slowing down the tutorial is most welcomed, I did not know that it could be done.
Mucho Thanks.

Could someone explain how to set the delay or slow down the Zscript. I can't find any reference to it other than i know it's a command. Cant figure how to use it

Look under ZScripts->Modifiers...
If you set it to 1000, it will make it easier to follow.

Hi Stonecutter greetings. I cannot find anything that allows you to slow down the script. I must be using a different version.
Under Modifiers there are only two commands, record and end recording.

DeeVee it should be under ZScripts->Modifiers
You shouldn't have a version without that section, as far as I know...just click on ZScripts, then when that opens, click on the 'Modifiers' tab...I just looked again, to see if I was crazy, and your problem seems to be that you're not clicking the 'Modifiers' tab itself. Try it...it will work!

Looks like you're really coming along well Deevee. I didn't even attempt separate eyes on my first head; I made a gargoyle with stone eyes built in. Looks good.

Here's a picture to help show the delay settings.

There are also a bunch of modelling samples that are great to watch. Hope this helps.

Fellows, I hate to be annoying but that line does not show up on my version of ZBrush. I even reinstalled it, and I still do not see any tab so as to reduce the speed. Thanks anyway for all the help, which has been beyond the call of duty. Much appreciated.

Hey deevee

hang in there on the modeling. It does take some time getting "used to".

Kind like driving an automatic all your life, and then buying a standard stickshift.

It's a whole "new" feel. :D :tu:

I like this head and the steps you took to get it done. Good work.

If you should have questions that need a quick answer while working you can email me. Sometimes, it just helps to get one on one input. ;)
