ZSphere - how do you begin placement?

I was wondering how folk around here place and use Zsphere for a body modelling

The problem i have is sometime (often) one or more area pinch because the child sphere is not place on a good face of the parent one

- the root Zpshere is at the pelvis location, or elsewhere?
- do you change density of the zSphere parent of hierarchy (ex pelvis, shoulder, neck.....)
Density of a single Zsphere cannot be change after it has been added, so do you plan where you'll need more density before beginning.......
