View Full Version : superdog
hello! a mix of super dog, Zorro for the clothes, and something og Goofy in the nose... it's of course z2, and the material is rendered with cavity, allowing a very detailed effect, , after the alphas step... I begin often with the values I've written of intensity and colorize, on the 11 material of the material pack, but without noise or bump... friendly .M. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200404/user_image-1081105307lfo.jpg

and here, it is just a head, on a 3d sphere, very "classical"... it's mainly worked with inflat, and smooth... and with the marvellous "shift"... I've tried to be "short" , (quick?), but it's rather long... sorry...TETEROUFLAQUETTES.zip (http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200404/user_file-1081105559onl.zip)

Totally awesome! I love the effects you have in this pic. The armour vest is amazing. I am going to download your script to see exactly how you did that!!
Thanks!
:tu: :tu:
thank you for your warm comments!... but the script has nothing to do with the picture of the doggy... it's just a little modelling session in z2, on a 3d sphere's head...

Hi marcel
Rouflaquettes ?
Je n'en vois point sur cette face canine glabre !
A moins qu'il se soit rasé juste avant de jouer les Zorros des banlieues :D
He he son collier a de bien curieuses roulettes de poussettes :)
Ensemble détonnant

I have hoped to see your workflow for head modelling for over an year now and I'm deeply thankfull that you have taken the time to prepare this for us. Its one of the best z-scripts I have seen ...it was amazing to watch your approach and realise your way of thinking while you worked.
Could I just queiry why you have adopted the inflate brush almost exclusivley?
I have learned so much from this script and you have inpired me to show my workflow :)
Thankyou so much Marcel I want you to know that, I fully appriciate your efforts and your art , more importantly that this has been a succesful business transaction ;)
Best Regards

thanks for the script, that's... enligthening in many aspects.
so bad you don't provide any of these to illustrate your texturing process.
Merci pour le script, éclairant sur bien des points. Dommage que tu n'en fasses pas un pour montrer comment tu textures.
Next level ? ;)
thank you for all the warm answers! maybe later I'll try something on texturing process... Kircho, I'm not really a fanatic of the inflate, but here I use it a lot: the point seems to me to avoid the "jelly" effect, and to go on structured modelling; for that I use a lot the masking function, and now Z2 , with the smooth brush to rework the inflate deflate, and the fall off of the brush, has in my idea really greatly improved the possibilities of masking!.. I suppose it's very early for wishes, but I should love an "anti masking" brush, : you brush the mask, and after you can very selectively unmask very little areas... amitiés.M.

Marcel, you mean like this?

Hold Control + Alt for un-painting a mask. Also, you could mask, invert the mask, and then keep painting the mask, then invert again.
whowww Jay! THANK YOU!... the amazing part is'nt that there are always new things to discover in Z, but that there is always a friend's help!...

Have fun Zbrushing!
