I love this, Great work.
Nice. Did you rely on a combination of lighting and material for the effect.

A "walk through" about how you went about creating these images would be well worth it. Both are fantastic.

I used poser models, heavily modified and posed in Zbrush. The reason is time, I actually think that Zbrush modelled figures would look much better. You may try this technique on every object: use glow material (remember it shows its properties only in best render), set depth cue and other quality tabs on, play with fog settings. The models are textured and painted onto before rendering, which gives much of this sketchy look, I guess. D.S.

Nice post - it's interesting to see your preliminary sketches of the figures in isolation from the final work. :tu:
I'd never suspected they were Poser-based! The two things I admire most about your very individual style are the great atmospheric effects and the elegance and fluidity of the figure drawings. Nothing like the stiff and lifeless figures I'm used to seeing with Poser. "Heavily modified" indeed - keep 'em coming. :)
