View Full Version : zbrush newbie waves hi
Hi everyone
Previously having modeled in Lightwave and Rhinoceros I felt worried the modeling in zbrush would be very alien. Much to my surprise the modeling seems to be very straight forward, and fun.
So with a very short try of the demo zbrush has a new user :) Purchased it today and here is my first model (well not first first) but first model with the retail version.

NICE Modeling !!! :tu: :tu: A Great start !
Welcome aboard, Dave, and a fine first example you've posted here. Looks like you had no problem grasping the concepts behind Zbrush's modeling approach. It really IS intuitive for anyone who's ever held a piece of clay in their hands, isn't it?
This is a geat place to hang out. If you have any questions at all, someone or much more likely someones will be glad to help.

Hey Dave, welcome to the forum, great model.
I've also used Lightwave, and Max but the modelling in Zbrush was just what I needed. The level of interactivity with the object amazes me still. :tu: :tu:
