Can't load any of the images / can't load most of the posts !!! There is a MAJOR PROBLEM somewhere in the server or on the site !!! Mark.

I havent really noticed any problems , except that things are slower than usual.

Usually when things like you discribed start to happen , they have to prune the forum (remove very old posts/threads , some 0 post members) , that always fixes it =)

I can't post and I can't see any images. Been like that for several hours now.

If it's just a problem with the forum , you can load the images by Clicking on them with right mouse button and selecting properties.
here you can copy the url of the image into another browser to load it.
If the image server is down too , it wont load off course :(

So it is not just me. Except for me I was also unable to download images from any other sites. I ended up re-installing Microsoft Internet Explorer and now everything is fine here and elsewhere.

Moderators, what could interfere with internal settings of the browser or any other explaination?

BluePage , you're lucky , I tried reinstalling but my IE still has serious problems. Only a Windows Reinstall would fix it and thats not something I'm thrilled about. I always end up missing important files I still needed after the reinstall :(

It's interesting that you say that BluePage because I can't see any graphics from any other sites either. The text comes across fine but that's all.

It's just me again . . .

I don't know if this post will work or not, but anyway, I've been to several different sites & none of the pages will load completely. I can't get any of the images on other sites to load either, & a lot of them will not even load all of the text. Sounds like a MAJOR problem with the internet in general, although I've never heard of anything like that??? Anyway, I'll get off here for now, I'll check back a little later to see if something has been corrected or resolved & you guys have a good one . . . Mark.

Yep there is trouble in River City. I reinstalled IE 4.0 from 5.5 and now Outlook Express doesn't work so I am cut off from email. And now I can't find my IE 5.5 CD heheh

Sure like to know what happened, seems like we all have ZBC in common

I am having the same exact problem Kruzr. It seems to be net-wide or at least affecting all ZBC visitors which leads me to believe it is either a major hub problem, a virus we have somehow been infected with, or a masterful piece of nationwide undermining by Microsoft! :)

I just had a collegue check her internet connection and she can see the graphics on most of the websites we checked. However she could not see all the thumbnail pictures on ZBC. No graphics of any kind will load on any website I connect to. I just get text. Could this be something insidious?

This is really weird!

I've been having exactly the same problem as you guys. I thought it was my computer etc so I downloaded IE6 instead, still the same problem.

I noticed that my problem occured when I first visited ZBC website and THEN visit all the others (couldn't see the images on those sites etc). So I deleted all the cache etc and started to visit another page and now it all works great. Then I visited ZBC again and now I have the problem as before, until I delete the cache memory again. I have never seen anything like this before?

This seems to affect Internet Explorer only because Netscape is doing fine (posting this thru Netscape).

Sincerely
Pat

I have no idea what you guys are talking about here...Everything seems perfectly normal to me...I don't use IE or Netscape, but Neoplanet, and I haven't noticed anything different today...

That's a very bizaar coincidence Pat. I just cleared out all my cookies and my temp files and all the other websites I connected to worked fine. As soon as I connected to ZBC it went poo poo again. Is it possible Pixologic has been hacked?

Looks like we have narrowed it down to something affecting Internet Explorer and it is coming from this site it appears, since people are able to clear thier cache and return to normalacy.

I am now running IE 4.0 so it doesn't affect it.

Hopefully the site is getting innoculated as we speak

I have the same thing happening :( I can view other sites graphics, but seem to get hung up on the gif for posting reply. At that time, I can't see graphics on other sites until I shut down and re-open IE.

Hope the info is helpful in finding the problem. I'm using version 6 (can't see IE version right now in help, about) installed with windows xp, and all the windows updates. Just tried right clicking and show picture without luck. Viewed the properties to see if I could copy/paste and get an image that way and it didn't work. I noticed the size on all the images are -1 bytes!

Can't wait til it's all fixed

I'm with you guys.. I use MSIE 5.5 and I'm NOT upgrading to 6.0, been there, done that and it s***ed! So, I will delete my cache and use Nutscrape.. til something is checked out or changed.. :)

Same for me, the most images aren't loading. (The ones that are must be in my cache.)

I'm on Win2K, IE 6.

BTW, this is wierd: I can't get the IE About box to come up properly, the images don't load!

Hi, everyone :)

We're sorry that many of you are experiencing problems displaying images (on this site and/or others).

We are looking into this problem, and we'll let you know what we find, as soon as we find it.

I just picked a site at random, (It turned out to be an artists online anatomy reference site...), and it worked just fine.
As I said, the only thing that seems different is that I don't use IE or Netscape... :qu:

Hi - I'm also having problems.

Under IE 5.0 the Forum page starts to display, but part way through showing the thumbs at the top, it freezes. Also the links from the thumbs freeze without loading.

However I've tried Netscape 4.6 (which I never normally use) and all seems OK. Hope this helps in tracking it down guys.

PS Forgot to mention - I tried clearing the IE cache, history, etc. but it made no difference.

Having trouble also. If I come here first then try other sites, they won't work properly. Simply closing IE and relaunching and going to other sites, they work fine. I haven't needed to clear temporary cache.

Hi all . . . :)

Just got back from doing some grocery shopping, ( gotta have something for dinner ), everything seems to be working fine right now, so maybe what ever was happening or not happening is corrected. ;)

You all have a good one . . . Mark.

I was having the same problem, but not just with ZBrushCentral. I had similar problems with other sites as well. The only site I didn't have a problem with was the site on our department's server at work. Everything seems fine now.
