Watanga and the Snake, 230702 (first version)
I tried to capture the feeling of native art, the composition is symbolic.

This is horrible, you have a long way to go. If your not pushing the envelope of the medium at large thats one thing but this piece reflects a lack of effort on all levels. Please try to outdo yourself.

:tu: The figures look great, the way you have elongated them, yes you have captured that native feel that you see in some asian art. I like the piece, the perspective, the lighting and use of colours. I'm not sure about the symbolism? The tree trunks are great - any particular symbolism in mind there?

Very nice... :)
The atmospheric environment, and the gestural feel of both the figures and the vegetation is wonderful!

Apparently not to everyone's taste! However I subsecribe to the majority opinion. ;)

Another excellent example in your distinctive style - I'm still in awe of the expressive way you draw your figures. The louring sky and overall lighting is very effective, adding greatly to the overall sense of mystery and magic you seem to create with such ease. :tu: :tu: :) :tu: :tu:

Will you fill us in on the symbolism behind the piece, please?

I really like the landscape and over all feel of this image. Looks like something you'd find hanging in a museum.

I think this is an excellent image, You have a style of your own and I think you should continue being as individulistic as you can be. I think your perspective in this image is outstanding.

I think it's great. The flowing lines of the people, the color scheme, the atmosphere and materials all make it a very eye pleasing image.

Daniel,

There is a lot of psychic energy exchanged here ... I get a sense that the figures, the trees, the snake, and the weather are linked at this moment, and there is something incredible about to happen.

Terrific!!!

The symbols are Man (Trial), Woman(Hope - New Life - Dream), Weapon (Possibility), Snake(Danger - Wisdom), Road(Path), Crossing(Decision), Tree (Life), Nature(Inevitability) for instance. The composition is metaphysic experiment, use diagonals of painting and positions of main symbols to each other to read the Story.

Test:
How many stories can YOU see?
