Hello,

I'de like to know if is it possible to export an object from Lightwave to Z-Brush, then texturing it in Z-B, and finally to import textured object into Lightwave layout to render it?

Ps: I attached my model

Thanks ;) http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/zbc_uploads/user_image-1021621721ooh.jpg

Hi Dark_Des,
yes, you can export from LW and import into ZBrush (OBJ or DXF format). Now you can texture it (i suggest to use Texture Master zscript) and the export in OBJ format. ZBrush export the texture too (sometimes flipped along vertical axis).
You can find other info on quicklinks section.

KenB uses LightWave with ZBrush pretty extensively.

Definitely use the TextureMaster for your texture work. You'll find a text version of its tutorial in this thread (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=005112), which should help you get started.

Be sure to use the OBJ format when you export from LightWave, as DXF does not support UV mapping.

ZBrush will use whatever UV coordinates have been assigned to the model, or create new coordinates if none have been assigned yet. The one rule of thumb, though, is that you can only have one color map per object. (ZBrush doesn't make use of material zones.)
