This is a simple tutorial, perhaps you will find it helpful.

Bump Mapping (http://www.ponderosagraphics.com/BumpMapping.pdf)

My main reason for posting it is to get feedback on layout and interface. I will make appropriate changes to my "Tutorial Generator" and make it available to anyone who wants it.

How nice of you to do this Kaz! I just love it, it's so easy to follow. Taking your precious time to help others, like so many others on this group, you are so cool!

Thanks for sharing Kaz. I have never used this technique, but I see where it can be quite useful.

Joe.

I think Cameyo may still have it. Last time I sent him a PM about that tutorial and he replied and told me he'll send it to me but then he forgot about that and me too. however I think that we should fight for this tutorial's revival.

if you go to www.archive.org and put in the link, they have an archived copy. You might have do a save as on the link that the engine returns though.

I went to the link and downloaded the pdf which contains nothing but 4 blank pages. Not too sure what is the problem with this file, does anyone else get this?

Bill As I said Bill, when its spits out a link with a date for you right click and do a save as instead of going directly to the link. Don't know why it won't work directly. :D

Yeah I don't know what their deal is. I have been using it for quite awhile to pull up broken tutorial links. They seem to pretty much every page I have ever put in. Except once when I found a site had a robot that as designed specifically to keep the ste from getting archived.
