umm. In 1.55 your were able to hold down the Ctrl key and paint on a mask. HAs this changed in 2.0??

No. The Ctrl key still functions for masking. In addition, you can hold down the Ctrl key and click on a blank part of the canvas to mask the entire visible mesh.

Both masking and mesh visibility can be used to control things such as deformations. However, we recommend becoming comfortable with the mesh visibility features, since they are a very powerful way to edit your mesh and work effectively with high resolution models.

Me thinks me found the problem. It's my wacom stylis. I just made a mask with my mouse and it works. For some reason my stylis is messingme up.
