Hi everyone!
Here is my entry for this year's Dominance war:
Mok***7779;a ***2350;***2379;***2325;***2381;***2359;
God of Salvation
In a universe devastated by war for thousand of years, the prophecy tells that Mok***7779;a, the god of Salvation, as a humming bird will fly over every planet to gather the souls of his purest workshipers, and will reduce to dust everything that's left behind.
***2360;***2342;***2381;***2352;***2325;***2381;***2359;***2339;***2366;***2351; ***2326;***2354;***2344;***2367;***2327;***2381;***2352;***2361;***2339;***2366;***2351;: to protect the good and punish the wicked.

i like that he is skinny when all others are so bulky and evil looking.
Do u feel like you need to compensate his body volume with details in future work?

Concept looks really good. One of few entries that really looks like a God.
I think you should extend the hands and feet on your sculpt so it wood look more like your concept.

Guedin: Thanks! Your sculpt is mind blowing! A real source of inspiration and motivation during these long days of work! Keep rocking man!
Mikelian: Yeah for some reason I always end up doing skinny characters  I should try a bulky guy one day.
branduarte: Cheers!:tu:
d-pan: Thanks bud, glad you picked C otherwise I would had to redo everything! :D
UsmanovM: Thanks for your comment! I actually stretched the hands and feet after reading your post, but not as much as in the concept though. Still a lot of work on the anatomy.
Here is a little wip for the sculpt:

I see while most people are going right making evil characters, you went left and made a good character. ;) Definitely looks like a god that would come save the the purest.
I love the style and great turn tables. I haven't see anyone use those yet.

Darukin: Wow, thanks a lot man!:tu:
marianosteiner: I'm glad you like Moksha!
Guedin: You're too nice Sir, I'm in owe with your entry.
Etcher: :D Just a wip joke, now it's gone.
luis2008: Peace and love! Moksha will save all the ZBrush artists first!
Here is a turntable of the final ZBrush sculpt. I might come back on some details if I have time, but I need to start the retopo asap if I don't want to be late. Thanks for the support guys!!! :):tu:

looks awesome! very interesting silhouette!
beautiful work my friend, i can just stare at every angle of it and always find creative little details that make me smile. The whole sculpt gives portrays an amazing feeling overall!
great work and goodluck on the finals!
fantastic sculpt! may i ask how you got a interactive turntable like that to work?

Thanks a lot Lizzard!
DPan, my friend, it's always a learning experience and a great adventure to enter a competition with you. Thanks for your support!!! :tu:
CIrvin: Thanks man, my little brother did this script. Actually he has a new version with a zoom option, I should try that on the next renders,
I just have to upload a sequence of images that I render with Turntable + in ZBrush and that creates the html page right away. I think he's planning to release this to the public with an easy portfolio creation system. I'm helping him with beta testing and this is already super exciting! Good stuff coming up that I will most likely use for my new website when it's available! :)

It pretty much kicks my DW5 design up the a$$ but I'm still blocking it in so who knows how it will look in the end.
Great work, man.

Hi everyone!
I'm done with the retopo (12450 tris out of 12500, keeping some for fx maybe), and I baked the normal and occlusion maps.
Here are some renders of the low poly mesh made in the Marmoset engine:

Dude this came out freaking awesome!!! Maps baked down really clean and that lighting really helps show it off. That script to rotate the model is wicked! Looking forward to the texture work as I am sure it will only push this further.

Wow, guys, thank you so much for your support. This really means a lot coming from you.
Here is a little work in progress for the textures. Still some stuff to fix here and there, but I'm getting there!

And here is my pedestal. I sculpted and painted it in ZBrush. It's around 3000 triangles:

This character has a sense of eloquence about him. Somewhat it gives out a feeling of might, pride and wisdom.
The pose that you put him in works very well. If any crit there is for me to make, is that the colors are kind of dull.
Maybe do more research on painting created by anchient indian cultures and tibetan, buddhist. They use very vibrant colors, patterns (you can put around the character in post) , symbols...glowing. If you have ime animate this it will work in your favour i think.
Best of luck... stars I gave for this!!!!

Man, this has turned out really cool! Well done.
Good luck in the comp.
If I ever finish my entry, I'm sure that mine and yours could look related in a way.

hey adrian, this is looking badass man. Love the design, modeling is great. I would now try to push the texture as amuch as you can and do a nice lighting .
Also i think the posing of the small arms could be different, right now their are hard to read. Maybe put a flat black shader on everything and play a bit more with sightly differents poses to see if the overall silhouette can be improved.
I'm sure you have a good chance to be on the podium again this year :)

Gorgeous character adrien! I love the pedestal too, gives a lot more depth to the whole thing! I also love how the face is framed with the round metal piece in the back, wicked idea. The renders with the blue sky are especially nice, it's a really nice contrast with his colors and makes him more readable.
Always looking forward to your next character! :D
