I modeled a dragon with a high polycount and took a few hours painting it.Saved the texture and reduced my polycount by 2/3
reapplyed the texture now it wont line up and is Distorted.Can anyone tell me why this is?

...as far as i know once youve textured your object dividing the polys will only set the points in different locations therefore your texture wont rem the points... however a qick fix for this is to place your new model on the canvas apply the old texture wrap open up texture master and touch up areas as needed..hope this helps..
