View Full Version : Dispair
Looking on the many faces of one's past; loneliness, desperation, and dispair. Refusing to face one's demons, and discarding the mask we present as our true selves.
Kinda depressing, huh? I just wanted to do something moody, guess I got carried away.

I hope this is an artistic expression, and not a state of mind, Brian...The work is well done, and I hope the clouds are parting... :)

Just so everone knows (my email is popping like crazy this morning) this was merely an attempt at something different for me. Actually, I just wanted to incorporate that blue picture of me into an image, and it looked kind of somber, so I made a somber image. Thanks to everyone for being concerned, but believe me I am a Smurf at heart, and I don't get down in the dumps this deep. Incidentally, this image shows a good example of using the spray stroke with a texture (my photo), as well as some zsphere work. I forgot to warn about the *****, which is only here so that people who wonder about missing *****es in my previous work do know that I am not afraid to make one. LOL!!! :p

Thanx for the clarification, and the free ***** Brian! :D :tu: ;)
Free *****? How many times can the word ***** be used before trouble starts? I wonder if Michelangelo had this much trouble with David? And, did he have an early release of Hammer & Chisel 1.5? Certainly such a ***** would not have been possible with Hammer & Chisel 1.23b.

There's so much being posted today - inevitably - that I'm having to be selective in skimming through the threads. But I'm sure glad I didn't miss this one. Excellent image, Slosh, very moody but compelling.
