the case of the vanishing body

hi , i was building this young lady with 3d spheres .
i marked the head body and eyes and assembled them as a multimarker object. i hadn't coloured or textured anything (except the irises accidentally).
i couldnt figure out how to colour her as a multimarker object - is that possible?
i went back to the seperate marked parts and started colouring-while i was colouring the body i did something wrong and found that when ever i tried to redraw the body it seemed to be invisible -i could see it appearing in the layers palette but not in the work window. i checked what colour i had selected to draw with and it wasnt the same as the back ground. does anyone know what may have been happening? i'd be grateful for any ideas. http://www2.zbrushcentral.com/uploaded_from_zbc/200405/user_image-1083594456qln.jpg

maybe the intensity was set at a very low setting as opposed to 100 percent...was the texture showing up as selected when you redrew the mesh onto the canvas? Check in the MM drop down menu to make sure you have all the proper boxes checked....like texture etc...hope this helps...if not, can't say we didn't try....I know on a script I made in 1.55b I was demonstrating all my modeling etc on putting a head together,, I would get to the teeth I believe and they would disappear completely from the image...figured it was just a bug in the prog at that time. hi ron, thanks for those suggestions- hmm ..maybe i didnt have texture checked in the marker menu like you say. i'll have to keep an eye on that next time.

which intensity were you refering to?

glad you like her. unfortunately i lost her going back to look at a tutorial that i thought might explain what was happening-couldnt save a tool as i was on the demo version- but at least it made me bite the bullet and buy the full version - hooray !

kewl beans...

I was talking about the zadd and zsub intensities ..I have draw out my ztl's before and used a low setting in the zadd and the whole thing go invisible by accident..(also a good technique to use along with the jelly bean material to simulate glass or other transparencies)
