<font color=#ffffff size=2>
We are pleased to announce the addition of Matthew Yetter (<font color=#FFa000 size=2>Aurick</font>)
to our staff in the capacity of Customer Support. </font>
<font color=#c0c0c0 >
Aurick will be answering phone calls and emails from ZBrush users, assisting
with registrations, and also taking on moderator duties here at ZBrush Central. </font>

In the 14 months since he discovered ZBrush, aurick has not only shown
himself to be a talented artist, but has also exhibited an excellent
understanding of the program -- along with a gift for clear explanations.
He has been an active and positive member of the ZBrush community, with
nearly 2,000 posts offering inspiration, knowledge, support of other
members' efforts, and even the occasional ZScript utility (even though he
swears that he is not a programmer. :)).
None of that will change. You can still expect him to be an active member of
the ZBrush Central community, for a long time to come. He will be completing
the "Newbie Lessons" after the release of the new version of ZBrush, as well as
bringing all of his past tutorials up to date. He also has plans to redesign the
QuickLinks for easier navigation and more current content.

Please join us in welcoming <font color=#FFa000 size=2> Aurick </font>, as the newest member of the Pixologic Team!

Thank you, Pix, for the welcome. And thank you, everyone else, for being there. Without you, there wouldn't be a job for me to have!

I will definitely do my best to continue answering questions here and helping out in any way that I can. If you have questions about ZBrush in general, the forum is still the best place to post them. For one thing, another member may beat me to an answer. For another, other people probably have the same question so you'll be helping them at the same time. If you have technical/serial number issues, please contact ZuZu or myself directly. Those kinds of things are easier to deal with one on one.

zerobudgetgamemaker: I've already written the first two parts of the newbie tutorials. They are Newbie Lesson One and Two in the QuickLinks. There are also many other excellent tutorials there by Southern, KenB, Davey, Pixolator and more. Check them out!

Again, thank you for the welcome!

Heartest Congratulations Matthew. You will be a very welcomed addition to the Pixologic team. This position could not have gone to a more apt person.
It has been a pleasure working with you in the past, and hope that we can also do so in the future.

hmm actually I thought he was part of the team. He's been here encouraging and helping people all the time. Going above and beyond the call of duty for this great (but confusing at times) program. So I hope you pay him well ~G~

Congrats Aurick.

And to you, M, all the congratulations in the world for this deserved position...

I have to agree with DLee...I was already convinced that Aurick was a member of the Pixologic team. He seems to have a grasp of the program second only to Pix himself.

And I think Mother Kathy probably meant "Colonel", but EZ has already offered the use of his spellchecker. :p

Congrats, Matthew. You deserve it 100 times over.

This calls for a celebration! I raise a toast to Aurick...Congradulations on joining the Pixolator team! I know from experience that you are very pleasant and considerate, and just the right person to moderate the forum and field questions from confused inquiring minds.
With the new version just around the corner, I'm sure we will keep you very busy. I'm pleased for you and I'm really pleased for us.
Cheers. :tu: :tu: :cool:

I just went back and looked at one of your projects from a week or so ago, "Cascading Hair," and now I clearly see why you were given membership of the team. In addition, you have given me as well as many other members of the Z-Family Never-ending wisdom that has improved our work. A Z-Brush prodigy such as yourself deserves no less!

I'm truly overwhelmed by all of this great response, my friends! The last few days have been very hectic, but also a whole lot of fun. This job is quite literally a dream come true. Especially since if it wasn't for ZBrush I would probably never have even realized that I had any artistic ability.

Mik: I'm personally hoping that my "ranking" doesn't get changed. I'm so close to that second star! :D

Incidentally, I have started work on the revisions to the QuickLinks to make that part of ZBC more manageable for everyone. And if any of you know of a thread that stands out in your mind as one of the best, but it isn't in the QuickLinks, let me know by email or private message! For the record, there are some links that are getting edited out of the QuickLinks because they are either outdated by newer versions or because they are redundant with another one that I felt answered the question a little bit more clearly. This is not a negative reflection on anyone's contributions! It is simply an attempt to make that part of the site as clear as possible for the benefit of all.

Again, a big thank you to all of you for the warm support. Not to mention the opportunity to serve as customer support for you!
