View Full Version : 121 first zbrush image

Man, am I proud of myself. :cool: Took me two days; roughly 8 hours total.

Unfortunately, i didn't do all this in Zbrush. I like using splines to create a basic primitive with absolute precision so I used the free Hamapatch to make a basic tucan shape with everything attached. I then added a couple more edgeloops in Wings3d (also free; I'm a cheap guy) and then I edited it in Zbrush to bring it home. It's about 6000 polys.

My 121 part:

There are some problems: It looks a little "weak" overall but I think that's a texturing issue and the eye area isn't as defined as I wanted it to be. It needs to be refined somehow but I'm not sure if it's a lighting problem (sun) or if more modelling is needed...

Hi kptr, very good job.....
Read some tutorial stay with us and in a couple of day you are able to do avery impressive detailed vmodel then this....

thanks for the reply. I wonder at the lack of replies. perhaps no believes me or something? I guess posting a wireframe is to late. I'll be sure to post more stuff (making a boar tonight/tmmrw). Thanks for teh reply.
