View Full Version : Creating sharp edges on cylinders ?

In the 1.23 scripts Pixolator shows a modelling demo of creating a battery torch.
Q1:How does he create the sharp edges on the cylinder to start off with?

Q2:The circular red dots appearing during the script is that the radial symmetry setting.

Could anyone offer a quick talk through of the process used.

Hiya Boozy

Q1. I believe to create sharp edges on a 3D tool you unselect the BH and BV switches in the deformation pallette. B = (Bevel)

Q2. You are correct, when you are in the Transform:edit mode your cursor is a red dot surrounded by a red circle. When you turn symmetery (sp) Mirror you get 2 red dots showing the location of the focal point. When you use radial symmetry 3 to 8 you will get the corresponding amount of red dots. I just love them red dots, don't you?
