View Full Version : Waiting. err wading.(painting)
I had a lot more planned for this pic... but Z decided it didn't like it I guess. Every time I used the hook or snake brush it crashed.

Very nice. It's too bad you couldn't finish. I like the colors and the reflection. :D

Your sense of hue is really nice Deb...You always mix the most interesting shades, and I see ones that I didn't even think about...I also like the light-and-shadow modelling of her back and the way the hair is so ethereal...I hope you intend to take another run at the subject!

I like the combination of simple and complex. At first glance it is a simple but pretty image. As you look closer there are many subtle details :tu:

I think it stands alone as it is. It is intriguing and gives an air of mystery. Lovely work!!

I really really like this one! Fantastic!!
Thanks everyone. Not sure if I'll try it again or not. Not great with human bodies let alone a partial nude one... clothes are easier to do ~G~
D ,You are so good at this style. I personally think you have found your ZBrush nitch. I hope you continue to develop it to the Max.
I think it might even become a technique you might persue commercially, if you are not doing so already.

~G~ Dee Vee, I don't think I have enough years left to get good enough to use this commercially... but a nice thought. Thanks ~G~
This is so simple,so calm, so beautiful. My wallpaper of the week on my PC! Hope you don't mind, but this actually matches the color scheme of my bathroom. I would love to print it and hang it in there. Do you have a larger version?
Email me Slosh. I have it 1500x1500. Honored that you like that much... Made my day, thanks.

veryvery nice - colours and all (my alltime favorite topic, ladies and water. in fact i remember a little scandal in the family when i was about 7 and my mother found out about it :D - so i emphasize the colours ;))
as for the crashes: i guess this was due to the settings in the hook/snakehook modifiers: if you crank that resolution slider up high (and especially if you use complex alphas as brushtips and higher drawsizes) it will need mucho memory. as far as i get it the resolution slider will multiply the polygons the more the higher it is set. of course this makes the cpu hum and the ramsticks vibrate - and slows down the realtime rendering to a little more unreal even if you have as much ram as possible. in case my guess is true and you cant give zbrush more memory you might want to try it with the default settings and try better antialiasing by reducing the picsize afterwards. hope this helps :)

Wonderful start - what a pity you couldn't finish it. Still at least you got far enough that it can stand in its own right as a beautiful painting. One can only wonder at what it might have become... :tu: :tu:
