Hey Digits...or anyone else that may be interested. Here is a little information about the "Spherical Blend" Material. Digits, you asked me in another post, how I got the texture to stretch in different areas. In the images below, you'll see that the "Spherical Blend" texture is in three different stages. With the "RadialScale" set to 0, there is no distortion / with it set to -50, you'll get areas where the texture looks as if it were compressed or bunched together / & with it set to 50, you'll get areas where the texture looks like it was stretched more in some places. If you just draw a sphere with any color & apply the "Spherical Blend" Material, then adjust the settings in "Modifiers S1" to the settings in the posted image, you'll see exactly what the different settings do. It's pretty interesting when you start playing with the settings. The only thing to remember is, when you change the "RadialScale" setting, you have to in turn adjust the "HVScale" setting, because the Texture scales up or down as you adjust the "RadialScale". Also, you probably know this already, but the size of your image effects the size of the textures, meaning the larger your image size - the smaller your textures appear. :D
Hope this helps some? See'ya later & have a good one... Mark.
