I was going through Glen Southern's cloth turorial and when I got done with it, I couldn't stop and kept doodling.

This is what came out. Textures, materials and lighting to be added later.

A very charming doodle WingedOne, reminds me of a decoupage image. :)

I really like the white on white of this -- nothing to distract from the great modeling that you've done. It's very dramatic, and visually interesting as-is.

This looks like a great piece to hang onto in this form until the new version with the real-world render engine comes out...Then you could do a dual image render and post both at the same time for comparison...I have to confess this has been the motivation for me in regard to my 'Troll King' image...It has been delayed in completion because I'd like to do just that. I think it would be fun to have people post a before and after render comparison on a future thread.
Quality work! :tu: :tu: :tu:  :)

Thats a brilliant idea Stonecutter, I was thinking along the same lines -great minds think alike eh ;), can't wait for the new version for the real world renderer, hope it's soon. :)

Thanx, G! :D
(But you know the other part of that saying? It's 'Fools seldom differ...' ;) )

If nobody else does it, I intend to start that thread when we get the new version...I bet a lot of people would enjoy the contrast... :)

Here's another version with lighting and textures added. I think I still need to tweak somethings on it, but I'm not sure what yet.

Don't worry, I kept the all-white version. :)

The textured version is even neater than the last! A little suggestion, maybe you should try to deform the curtains a little more if possible. To me they look a little to much mathematical. Unless this was the look you wanted, in which case it should be emphasized more, IMO. Great work though! :)
