Afternoon Sail

This is a quick doodle/image that I whipped up to try the technique of putting foliage on branches in layers to see what effect I would get. Just thought I would share the results.

I like this..and the sailboat...the thing besides your experiment that I liked about this was the shoreline....turned out pretty good Joe :tu: :tu: Question...what is the object in the foreground? Balcony?

Thanks folks :ex: Ron the thing in the foreground is part of a balcony looking out over the sound. I really did not spend much time on this one other than the splashing on of the foliage based on a tip from Miguel. Thanks M :ex: It appears to have turned out OK.

Good stuff DeeVee. I like the soft hues in the sky/water and distant hills. The stronger values and higher detail in the foreground give a nice depth to the image.
