First I think the texture for the skin is a good start...If I were to give you specific advice it would be to do a little anatomy study...To do an accurately human face is one of the more difficult things to achieve, and this is a good effort...I would encourage you to check out some references, and here's some places to start...

Good effort, and the Quicklinks have a lot of good information on render and lighting to give you some starting points for experimentation... ;)

ok....when using the fiber brush for hair...this is a little tip ....do best render, then hit ctrl B to bake the image...then take choose the fiber brush, the flat color material, and a light Zintensity.....that will help make the hair a bit more realistic....also try doing this with the zadd on and the zadd off....good luck and keep us posted on your progress.. :tu:
