Well, the jpg compression to keep under the file size max for here kind of mucked this one up a bit, but it's ok. Not what I was after but ok. :D Still practicing technique for my other set of images for childrens books. :D

Hey! Thanks for the comments. Still working on it and getting closer. :D

Here's an update...LOL, would help to have the upper beams and the source from the furthest point needed to be corrected. I'm still not getting the definitive reflection however and perhaps that is because I didn't up the mesh on the plane3d before using it. I'll practice more on that.

Thanks Nikko, I've been working hard at making my own textures and getting them to work in my images. :D

Thanks Ron!

Well, here's the last one. I have close to the effect I wanted but I didn't get it in the way I wanted. :D

For whatever reason I can't get Env Reflections to reflect my environment clearly even upping the mesh to the max...anywhoo...this will work and I learned a lot about env reflections.

Since some of you liked the brick I made I decided it would be nice to share, so, below is the brick texture zipped. It's a little over 422K. I used it at 1024x1024 but I couldn't get it compressed enough so I resized it down to 800x800 and converted it to jpg. Just convert it back to bmp and hopefully it won't have lost too much quality. :D Have fun!

Well, Vikki, you may not have got precisely the effect you were after, but one thing's for sure - you've created a gorgeous painting. Beautiful work. :tu: :tu: :tu:

And may I add my best wishes towards the book project - you excel in this genre. :)
