Hello to all you Zbrushers...
First of all... I'm sorry I got so upset!
It wasn't right of me! I really do appreciate any kind words that are given to my work and I feel stupid for jumping the gun! I hope you will forgive me! I won't do it again!
Secondly, I have recieved several encouraging private messages from various persons around here who want me to come back. Thanks to all!
I have been lurking ever since 1.5 came out
and I must say that there is a new energy surrounding this place! I feel I must be involved! ;~)
As a matter of fact It has been hard not to be able to share with you all!
-I'm back now though... and here is one of my first models done with the Zspheres!
The head is the same cyclops head(zscript) that I posted a while back(made with sphere3d)... the body however was made using Zspheres and uniform skin.
Allthough I am now finding that adaptive skins are the way to go! The spider was done using adaptive skins!
Everything here is Zbrush1.51 except for the bushes which were made in TreeDruid1.1 and of course my logo and jpeg conversion done in Photoshop5.5
Thanks for being a caring and understanding group of people and a fine place for inspiration and sharing!
Michael

Thanks guys!
Jaycephus... The chain holds his loin cloth on and also serves as a key chain! LOL ;~)
No really... It just seemed to fit... I have no real logical explanation!

Welcome back Mr. P!

A little 121...As one who works with Jade, I would suggest that you may have the specularity set a little high...There are two forms of mineral that are classified as 'Jade', Jadeite, and Nephrite...Nephrite has a sort of 'greasy' sheen compared to Jadeite, and if this had slightly less specularity, it would resemble what is called 'Imperial Jade' color Jadeite...

Beautiful ZSphere work, and really fine lighting in this image!

:) :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :)

Thanks SC and robotalk for the kind words... I appreciate it.
SC, Thanks for the tips on how to make the jade look even more realistic.
Less specularity huh? I will try that next time! ;~)
